Z and C sections
The structure of BLACHPROFIL 2® C and Z sections, formed in cold-rolling, enables them to be used as elements of wall and roof support structures in a wide range of applications. In particular, the C and Z sections are used as wall spandrel beams and roof steel trays, as well as parts of load-bearing and partition walls. They also form part of the structure in industrial, service and commercial units and can also be used as beams in suspended ceilings and as bracing for a framework structure.
BLACHPROFIL 2® C and Z sections are manufactured using galvanised tapes made of constructional steel (1.00-3.00mm thick); transport requirements restrict their maximum length to 14m. A table giving the loads and the product sheet for these sections can be downloaded from our website.
The advantages of the BLACHPROFIL 2® sections are:

- The large range of lengths and the possibility of ordering products on the basis of pre-defined dimensions (using the longitudinal roll formed from tape);
- Rigidity and durability (ideal for support structures);
- Saving material (less steel consumption) and lower structure weight (smaller cross-section), in comparison to hot-rolled sections, while simultaneously maintaining the same strength parameters;
- Quicker assembly and reduced construction costs, as the sections are cut to the desired length and individualised, in terms of drilling the holes, during the production process itself;
- Efficient precision assembly, using rivets or bolts, as a result of the use of special openings;
- Possibility of disassembling and multiple use of elements (when bolts are employed).
